Alton Clock Shop Re-Opening on 5th November Under New Management
Paul Gisborne is the new owner of the Alton Clock Shop opening on Lenten Street, at the top of Market Street on 5th November. This is what he has to say.
“I started in the clock business when I was 16, and followed a four year apprenticeship. That was some 33 years ago!
Since then I have had other jobs but have always maintained the clock and watch repairs. It is a job that I love and I pride myself in my work.
For the past five years I have been running the Liphook Clock Shop and have built up a large client base, most of whom wish to follow me to Alton.”
So his skills are already well renowned and now the people of Alton and the surrounding areas will surely benefit from these skills and experiences too.
Paul is looking forward to opening the shop on 5th November and providing yet another valuable asset to the town.
