Who are you?
Alton Evening Towns Women Guild. As this implies it is a Woman’s Group open to all ages.
What do you do?
Our meetings consist of talks and demonstrations on virtually every interest to our members. We also have groups within our Guild – craft, pub strollers, visits to cinemas, theatre visits, book group, garden visits. Towns women guild is a country wide organisation and they have district federations of which Alton is a member of Hampshire North Federation. This also has events for all members so there is always something to do.
Who can join?
Any woman can join.
When do you meet?
Every third Tuesday evening at 7.30pm at the Alton Assembly Rooms (Large Hall)
How much does it cost?
Subscriptions are £24.00 per year paid in February or March, but you are welcome to 1 or 2 meetings to see if you would like us! Visitors £1.00.
