Flowers for your Wedding Reception
When you consider that your guests spend most of the wedding around their table at the reception, the table decoration becomes very important to get right. It is worth spending more money and thought on the table arrangements which will be photographed and looked at for the duration of the wedding celebration, rather than the church which you are in only for an hour.
These days table arrangements have to compete with tall wine glasses, menu, favors, cameras etc, small round table posies just disappear, the table centre has to be seen to make a statement, and bring a bit of drama to the table.
If your reception is in a marquee or a venue with a very high ceiling then make use of this space, go very tall use glass containers keep them quite narrow so they don’t block your guest’s vision and have the flowers above everyone’s eye line. This looks really spectacular and really dresses the room or marquee. If your venue is very modern go with it - choose something sleek and modern and simple, but it has to have the wow factor.
Make your tables come alive in the evenings with candles using mirrors to double the effect, these days you can even illuminate the vase’s or the flowers so ask your florist to create a stunning look for your venue.
