The Success of Iceland in Alton
The new Iceland store opening in Alton on the 9th July was a great success. Cllr Alan Chick Mayor of Alton proudly cut the ribbon at 9am. On site was a Balloon Modeller to entertain the children and a Balloon Arch to add to the excitement of the day. The store was a hive of activity from the minute it opened and the buzzing atmosphere that surrounded the store made sure our new customers went home happy.
Iceland was also proud to sponsor the Alton Food Festival which took place on the 11th July. It was a fun filled day giving away sweets and balloons to children and two lucky festival goers won a hamper which included Iceland food. Chris Stickney the Iceland Store Manger and staff member, Vanessa Heckford took an active part on the day.
Iceland has been welcomed with open arms by the Alton Community.
