 |  |  | The Alton “10” Road Race will take place, starting from Lord Mayor Treloar College in Holybourne.
All profits from the race will go to the Alton Lions Charity fund.

The cost of entry is £10 for EA Affiliated runners and £12 for those who are unattached. Late entries are possible from 9.00 am near the race start at Lord Mayor Treloar College Holybourne.
Assembly for the race is at 10.15 am and the start at 10.30 am. The presentation of awards will take place at the finish at 12.15 pm.
Awards will be made in the following categories:
Senior Ladies; Lady Vets 35+, Ladies Vets 45+; Lady Vets 55+; Senior Men; Male Vets 40+; Male Vets 50+; Male Vets 60+; First Women’s Team; First Men’s Team.
There will also be a special award, donated by Coors Brewery, to the runner who tops the World Standard Performance Results. World Standard Performance Results provide each competitor with a percentage value, which will enable them to judge their performance over any distance from one mile to a marathon, without bias to age or sex. This achieved by each competitor’s race time being compared with the World Standard Time for their age and sex.
The Alton “10” 2009 is a venue for the Hampshire Road Race League.
