OPENING TIMES

The Playing season runs from September to Easter, the club is open from 9.30am to late evening.

During the Summer, club roll-ups take place on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10.00am to 12.00pm and on Wednesday evenings from 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
The club has its own fully licensed bar and members and guests are welcome at any time during normal licensing hours.

JOINING THE CLUB

There is no joining fee but an annual subscription of £65 is payable in September (£25 if after December) Juniors in full time education pay no subscription.

COACHING

The club has several qualified coaches and can provide coaching for prospective or New, Junior and experienced members.
The cost is usually £4 per two-hour session. For further information please contact Don and Sheila Goodwin 01420 83822.

EQUIPMENT

The club has its own sets of bowls and shoes that are loaned free of charge.
a new set of bowls costs between £80-£120 and shoes from £30-£40.
There are second hand sets of bowls advertised on the club notice board from time to time in the region of £50.
Women play in grey skirts, men in grey trousers. A white shirt or blouse and pullover.

MATCHES

During the playing season a comprehensive internal league programme is organised from Monday to Friday, with club roll-ups on Thursday and Friday.
Rink fees are £2.50 or £1.00 for Juniors for a two hour session.

COMPETITIONS

For the more competitive bowlers the club runs the normal variety of competitions, with the finalists progressing to represent the club in County Competitions.

Please Note
Teams for the 4's Leagues should consist of no less than six players.
Triples teams should have a minimum of five players.
"Mixed" teams should have at least one player of the opposite sex in each game played.
"Open" teams may have any combination of Ladies and/or Men.
