 |  |  | Cheriton near Alresford is a charming Hampshire village which has retained a village communtity spirit with a local pub one end of the village green, the village hall the other with a stream running along side with the local ducks just wating to be feed. Duck feed available from the local shop and postoffice just by the stream and green.
The village saw a Battle take place in the Civil War back on the 29th March 1644 which saw 10,000 Parlimentaria's fight 6000 Royalists.
